The microphone has been around for how long now? I can't believe there's still some people that have no idea what it is lol. Watch these hilarious videos. When the microphone is past to them, it's obvious they have no idea what it is, haha.

Lord of the Boring Online: Shadows of Dullness

Okay, I am a fan of Lord of the Rings, yes I am a geek. Anyway, my friend sent me a buddy key for this online game called Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. It's a 10-day trial for anyone who wants to give this game a go. Well, I finally tried it a few days ago and I thought it was boring! It was like any other average MMO, nothing really special. To be honest, after playing for about an hour, I got bored. All you do is pick up quests, go kill monsters, return to receive your reward. It's like a rinse and repeat process...
From my understanding, LOTRO(Lord of the Rings Online) is a game that focuses on the PvE(player versus environment) aspect. Boring. Where's the PvP(player versus player)? I mean, a MMO without PvP? This is unheard of. Well, may be not but I mean come on. Where's the challenge and excitement? I know this game has something called MPvP(monster play versus player) or whatever it's abbreviated. Boring.
But I guess one thing good about this game is the upcoming huge update Shores of Evendim. You can read all about it on the link below. This will make fellow LOTROers happy! This game isn't for me.
Shores of Evendim
Anyway, that's my 2 cents on Lord of the Boring Online: Shadows of Dullness.

The Future of Console Hardware Design

Next generation console systems made its debut not too long ago and already next NEXT generation consoles are already in the works. Technology blows! Here's the full article,
"The next generation has just barely become the new generation, but the folks at Semiconductor Insights are already thinking about what might be under the hood of the next generation of consoles. In an article at TechOnline, SI manager Allan Yogasingam discusses how the focus of system design has tilted from simple cosmetics for the Atari 2600 to "cost, heat [management], cooling and [efficiency] test." in the 30 years since.
That cost bit might be the most important -- SI manager Greg Quirk predicts Sony and Microsoft will soon introduce 65 nanometer processors to reduce the costs associated with their current, 90-nanometer-chip systems. Yogasingam also predicts that the drive for cost reduction might lead console makers to look towards "second- and third-tier chip and software vendors " for the next generation. Someone better warn IBM that their gravy train might be in jeopardy.
What else is likely to be in the next generation of hardware? The SI team thinks 802.11n wireless, tilt-sensitive MEMS controller sensors and other entertainment features are likely to stay hot, but that's not exactly rocket science. Where are the bold predictions for things like laser cannon attachments and Holodeck-style projectors."

Gamers get younger
I remember when I started out playing video games around the age of 10. Nintendo was the shit back then! Anyway, here's a good article about the age of kids getting younger as video gamers. Parents should set limits on their child's video gaming!
